Shipping (Update 9/2021): Here at Saucy, we’re all about transparency. We always have our customers’ best interests at heart, which means making sure your candles arrive safely, quickly, and unbroken. We use USPS 2-day priority shipping for all of our orders so that the fragile glass and delicate wax never sit in a warm or cold warehouse for too long. We also use boxes that are sized to optimize shipping price AND reduce risk of breakage, but that means they’re a little more expensive. On average, we pay $9.04 to ship each set of candles, but pricing varies by location we’re shipping to. Candles are heavy and shipping is expensive! As USPS raises their rates (as they continue to do in 2021), we have to raise ours as well. We currently offer a competitive rate of $8.75 for flat rate shipping. We hope you understand and appreciate your continued support of our little dream. And remember, orders ship free over $85 and we provide free local drop off to anyone in 28411!
Product Pricing: We strive to use the highest quality ingredients in our candles to keep them safe, clean-burning, vegan, and eco-friendly. This means using soy wax for an optimal soot-free burn and fragrances which contain essential oils blended with premium fragrance oils. Our wicks are cotton and contain no zinc or metal. Bottom line is that premium and safe ingredients affect the bottom line (see what we did there). Our costs, while competitive with the costs of the market, reflect the premium ingredients we use and the fact that we are a small-batch, handmade operation. We want you to know that we take setting our pricing seriously and consider each dollar you spend with us like it’s our own. Thanks again for supporting Saucy.
